Umuaka women express joy over WCC grant.

The beneficiaries of the women empowerment program of the famous Women’s Crisis Centre WCC, a community based organization in Umuaka have expressed joy over the N50, 000 grants they all received respectively from the NGO. The executive director of the NGO Ms Lesley Chinwe Agams who facilitated the grant from the Open Society Institute for West Africa OSIWA, a famous American independent donor agency owned by the Hungarian born billionaire philanthropist George Soros, decided to assist Umuaka women by localizing the WCC in Umuaka.
Umuaka Times went to town a couple of days ago with the program manager of WCC, Miss Lolo Cynthia to interview some of the beneficiaries of the grant. Those who spoke with the WCC and Umuaka Times deeply expressed their joy and gratitude for the WCC and her executive director Lesley Agams.
At the end of the interviews, Umuaka Times and WCC reminded each beneficiary who was interviewed to always remember the purpose of the grant which is to uplift their businesses.
