All Roads Lead to Great-99’s Convention on December 29, 2023.

We the entire members of GREAT’99; an old boys association of St. Saviour’s Secondary School Umuaka, class of 1999 take great pleasure in inviting the well-meaning Umuaka sons and daughters and the general public to our Convention/Fundraising event on the 29th of December, 2023, at City of Angels Hotel, Plot 1390-1393, Amakohia Layout New Road, Owerri, Imo State.
Great’99 was founded on December 26th, 2004. It was with deep sense of responsibility and desire to contribute positively towards the unity and development of mankind that we the old boys of St. Saviour’s Secondary School Umuaka, 1999 set came together to form this association known as Great”99.
Having finished our secondary school education together and the same year (1999), we realized that we have a lot in common and share similar views in events around us especially with regards to humanitarian services. Using this as a unifying factor, we formed this forum to help build a movement towards a better society in which respect, love, responsibility and co-operation will prevail amongst us.
We have supported our Alma Mater in many ways, including but not limited to:
(1) We built and donated a sign post at the main entrance of the old school compound via Ama Odueze.
(2) While some of us were university students between the years of 2004 to 2008, we visited our alma mater regularly to offer academic advice to the students as well as conducted WAEC preparatory classes to the SS3 students.
(3) We provided teaching and learning materials such as whiteboards, books and writing materials to the school.
As part of our commitment in helping our institution where we studied, for this year’s Convention, we’re fundraising to support our Alma Mater (St. Saviour’s Secondary School Umuaka) with school supplies and scholarships/financial aid for the students.
