Chief Eddy Nwokedi, a Us based Akalite and one of the great men who received a high profile chieftaincy title on December 28 2023 has promised to continue to show deep support to his people of Ibele Autonomous Community in creating a better soceity. High Chief Eddy Nwokedi who received the title of Odi Mbu Eme, (Someone who has been doing good) from HRH Eze Rufus Anyanwu of Ibele Autonomous Community, disclosed this to Umuaka Times in an exclusive chat he had with the newspaper during the reception he organized to showcase the chieftaincy title to his family and friends.
High Chief Nwokedi further told Umuaka Times that he has always been someone who has been supportive in projects concerning his community and Umuaka in general. As a former chairman of Umuaka USA, High Chief Nwokedi has indeed paid his dues in diverse ways and is still ready to work for his community and Umuaka in general.
While holding talks with Umuaka Times during the exclusive interview, Nwokedi used the opportunity to express his appreciation to all those who have come to celebrate with him and his family on his new position as a high chief. He first thanked the royal father of his community HRH Eze Rufus Anyanwu for his role, sacrifices, commitments and more towards moving the Ibele community forward. He thanked the Almighty God for his mercies and love for his family, community and Umuaka in general.
For those who witnessed the reception organized by Nwokedi, he thanked them for making out time to be a part of the plan and he also asked God to guide them home while going to their different houses and homes.
Several high profile Akalites especially those who live in America were present during the reception in their large numbers. They occupied one special canopy and the supply of food and drinks never stopped in the canopy.
