Ann Nkechi Ekwujuru honoured. Describes award as work of God.
1 min readMrs Ann Nkechi Ekwujuru (nee Duruoha) who bagged her own Covid19 Charity Award from Umuaka Times last week over her palliative role during the Covid19 lockdown has described her award as the work of God. Addressing the Umuaka Times team after the presentation of the award, the American based Ekwujuru described charity work as work of God and showed some excitements on the decision of Umuaka Times to reward her with an award.
She expressed her dissatisfaction over some ugly news reports she reads in the pages of the newspaper about the entire Umuaka community concerning the recklessness of motorcycle boys.
Mrs Ekwujuru used the opportunity to call upon Akalites to always remember and have it in mind that Covid19 is still very much around and appealed to the people to continue to observe all the rules demanded by health officials on how to avoid contacting the ailment.
Umuaka times,I appreciate your recognition and award to my virtuous wife. In Mathew:25, 31-40 For I was hungry and you gave me something to eat, I was thirsty and you gave me something to drink, “I was a stranger and you invited me in, I needed clothes and you clothed me, I was sick and you looked after me, I was in prison and you came to visit me. May the risen Lord Jesus Christ, the King of Kings and the Lord of Lord’s continue to reign supreme in her. Thanks for the honor.
