BREAKING: Chief Ikwubuo sets Covid19 rules for mum’s burial.
2 min readTop Imo politician and an ex chairman of Njaba Local Government Council, High Chief Eddy Ikwubuo has released the program for the final burial of his late mother, Late Ezinne Lolo Ego-Oyibo Ikwubuo. In a telephone interview with Umuaka Times a couple of hours ago, High Chief Ikwubuo stressed that the entry ticket for the burial ceremony would be wearing of face mask. In his own words, “No face mask no entry.”
Umuaka Times learnt from the press statement issued by the High Chief which a copy was made available to Umuaka Times, Thursday 25 February 2021 will be a night of musical orchestra, the presentation of a documentary on the late life of the late matriarch and performances by some Nigerian artistes. On Friday 26 February 2021, there will be a Requiem Mass at St Mary’s Catholic Church Umuaka by 11 am for the repose of the soul of the late Ezinne who was 93 years. On the same date, the entertainment of guests will take place at the premises of Father Eburuaja Stadium Umuezeala Uba. This takes place after the church service.
Umuaka Times which has been penciled down as the official newspaper of the event also learnt that many side attractions have ben booked for the big event. Music groups like the famous Ohafia War Dance and other local music groups will be at the occasion to entertain guests.
While addressing the Umuaka Times reporter who called on him, Chief Ikwubuo strongly extended his invitation to everybody in and outside Imo State to be at the burial ceremony. He finally described it as an extravaganza for the immediate environment of Umuaka.
