Chidi Anyadike calls on Akalites to invest at home.

A high profile Akalite, business mogul and a great stakeholder in the organized private sector, Mr Chidi Anyadike has appealed to Akalites who have the resources to bring home their businesses to Umuaka town. Anyadike made this call last week in a brief interview with Umuaka Times on the occasion of the opening and dedication of his new hotel which he built in Amiyi Umuaka.
Anyadike who is a businessman based in the capital city of Egypt, Cairo appealed to Umuaka Times to use her medium to reach out to Akalites and appeal to them to come home and invest. He cited the examples of Nnewi, Abiriba and some parts of Igboland whose sons and daughters are helping in developing their communities by bringing home their businesses. In his words, “Such moves if properly harnessed will make Umuaka a new commercial hob of the state, whereby jobs and deep-rooted commercial activities will flourish.”
The Ugbele Umuaka Autonomous Community born Anyadike, named his hotel Cairo Majestic Suites. While answering questions from an Umuaka Times reporter last week, Anyadike told Umuaka Times that the reason for the name of the hotel was to appreciate the favours the Arabian land of Egypt has so far shown to him as a foreign investor in the country. He also used the opportunity t thank Umuaka Times for bringing the name of Umuaka to the global map.
