Chief Hygi Okpara extols younger brother, gives vote of thanks.

Umuezikoha Uba born chieftaincy title holder, community leader and devote Christian father, Chief Hyginus Okpara, the Ekwueme 1 of Umuaka has issued a vote of thanks on behalf of his younger brother, Chief Linus Okwara who marked the event of his chieftaincy title home coming last Saturday in his country home in Umuezikoha Uba Umuaka. Chief Okpara who spoke on his brother’s behalf who was conspicuously absent during the colourful event last week, first took time to exclusively thank the royal father of the community HRH, Eze Henry Izuchukwu Ojinnaka for his endorsement of the event.

The next persons or group of persons the Ekwueme thanked in his vote of thanks were or was Umuezikoha Uba Council of Chiefs. Ekwueme described the group as a team of highly inestimable supporters who worked out the proper modalities used to carry out the endorsement of the chieftaincy title of Chief Linus Okpara.


Others who got the appreciation message in the vote of thanks were the entire Okwaraojiaku family, Umuonyiriegbe family, Umuezikoha community, all the lolos and “umu boyi” who graced the colorful event including friends and well-wishers. The last but not the least was the Almighty God who in his own wisdom provided both the logistics and wisdom that propelled the successful hosting of the event.

Before he ended his inteview with Umuaka Times, the Ekwueme described the new Chief in town, Linus Okpara as a dependable younger brother who has made the family proud. Chief Okpara finally prayed to God to lead all the guests to their respective homes at the end of the event.
