Engr Emmanuel Igbokwuwe bags Covid19 Charity Award.

It was a triple honour for Chief Engineer IGBOKWUWE Emmanuel Nwokejiezi, better known as Nwokeoji. On First January 2021, Umuaka Times,  Umuezikeukwu community and Chief Mike Igbokwuwe, an elder brother of Engineer Igbokwuwe gathered at Amaocha Umuezikeukwu and bestowed honours on the engineer.

Chief Engineer Igbokwuwe who is a distinguished Fellow of the Nigerian Society of Engineers received the Umuaka Times Covid19 Charity Award for his role in providing palliatives to his Umuezikeukwu people etc to caution the harsh effects of the hunger unleashed by Covid19 during the Coronavirus lockdown across the state. The award from Umuezikeukwu community was in recognition of his philanthropic activities as well, especially, on the donation of an ultra modern town hall in the community.

Exited by the two honours from Umuaka Times and Umuezikeukwu community, Chief Mike Igbokwuwe who received the two awards on behalf of his younger brother Chief Engineer Igbokwuwe, in his acceptance speech thanked his community and Umuaka Times for the awards. He went further and crowned Engineer Igbokwuwe the Madu Ka Eji Aba 1 of Umuaka.

While speaking with Engineer Igbokwuwe shortly after the presentation of the award from Umuaka Times, he expressed his joy over the award and thanked the management of Umuaka Times for the award.

Al the people who provided palliatives to their people during the lockdown, are being recognized and honoured by Umuaka Times.
