A top community leader, businessman and politician in the name of Chief Vitalis Uchendu has described the late Engineer Rufus Onwuka who was buried on Friday December 17, 2021 as a great asset to the Achara Umuaka community when he was alive. Chief Uchendu who disclosed to Umuaka Times that the deceased was his uncle regretted that the community would miss the late engineer in so many ways.
According to him the late engineer was a lover of education who trained all his children in the university and equally trained others and helped many individuals in diverse ways.”He was a peace maker also and he used to give very weighty advice on several issues.”
Above all these qualities, Chief Uchendu confirmed to Umuaka Times that Engineer Onwuka, devoted his life to things of God and it totally manifested in his character. He prayed God to receive his soul and give them, the family he left behind the fortitude to bear the loss.
