The paramount ruler of Umuemeka village of Amiyi Akah Autonomous Community Chief Jude Igboukwu has during the weekend lamented over the death of the late Chief Dennis Nwokedi whom he described as a freedom fighter.

Chief Igboukwu recalled the days he and the late Nwokedi who was also known as Social Man were representing their community on some court cases. In his views the Chief said. “He was a freedom fighter and he had a kind heart. He had the zeal to see our community stand on the top and help others as well.”

On the people left behind by the late Social Man, Igboukwu asked for God’s intervention especially on the widow and her children and many more family members and relations.

Umuaka Times gathered from Chief Igboukwu that the heavy presence of men and women both old and young during the burial was a testimony that the man in question was indeed a real man of the people who loved people with no iota of discrimination.

While concluding, the paramount ruler assured Umuaka Times that the good jobs the Enyioha was known for would go on because “we cannot let his legacy down.”
