Eze IOU Ikejiofor marks 2021 ofala in grand style.

Wednesday 29 December 2021has been declared a special and unique day in the Amandugba Ancient Kingdom. On this day, the sons and daughters of Amandugba both in Nigeria and Diaspora, friends, well wishers, royal fathers, top government officials, politicians, diplomats, captains of industries, businessmen and women will gather at the palace of HRH Eze IOU Ikejiofor, the Igwe Gbajiri Egbe iv of Amandugba Ancient Kingdom to celebrate with the royal father on what has been termed Igu Afor Eze Ofala 2021.
According to what Umuaka Times gathered, this event will take place at the palace of the royal father known as Ishi Obi Ukwu Ndugba Palace Amandugba, in Isu LGA Imo State.
Several activities have been mapped out by the organizing committee to add colour to the big event. First, there will be a church service at St Damian’s Catholic Church Amandugba to thank God and ask for more blessings and protection to the royal father and the entire Amandugba sons and daughters in the next year. The church service holds by 10 am while the main event starts by 12 midday at the Ishi Obi Ukwu Ndugba Palace. There will also be conferment of chieftaincy titles to some illustrious sons of the community by the royal father.

Nwadike, chairman fund raising committee, Ofala 2021 and Mr Christian Obiajunwa, committee secretary and Mr. Brendan Chinemerem Nwanesi, President General AFU, every arrangement has been put in good shape for the successful hosting of the historic event.
The Igu Afor Eze (Ofala) is a bi-annual cultural festival of Amandugba town of Imo State. It is one of the rich festivals that unite the people in love and unity for the progress of the community.
Umuaka Times has been named the official newspaper of the historic event.
