The burial of Hon Gabriel Obieze Owowo has been scheduled to take place on Wednesday December 16, 2020.
When Umuaka Times visited the American based son of the late Hon Gabriel Owowo, Sir Emmanuel Chukwudi Owowo last week, he welcomed the Umuaka Times team and later informed the team that the funeral home handling the funeral arrangements is the City f David mortuary which is located after Njaba River while coming from Umuaka.
The requiem Mass for the repose of Hon Gabriel Owowo will hold at St Mary’s Catholic Church after a brief lying-in state at the Owowo family home in Uba Umuaka on the same date.
Sir Emmanuel Chukwudi Owowo while speaking with Umuaka Times described his late dad as a man who lived a good life and did the best he could to make the world a better place. Sir Emmanuel Owowo asked God to forgive his dad of his sins and accept his soul in Paradise.
Umuaka Times has been appointed as the official newspaper of the burial ceremony.
