HSU Class of 82 Old Boys Elects New Executive Committee.

The 1982 Set of the Old Boys’ Association of High School Umuaka, Njaba Local Government Area of Imo State, has elected a new executive committee to steer the affairs of the association following the expiration of the tenure of the immediate past chairman, Engr. Vice Onyemepu.

In a statement made available to Umuaka Times, the newly elected president of the association, Chief Jude Chukwuma Ezeala, said the election was peaceful and successful, resulting in the emergence of a new leadership team.

The newly elected officers are Bob Okoro, Deputy Chairman; Ukwuegbu B. Ken. (Coach UBK), Secretary; Barr. Vitus Okpara, Legal Adviser; Nze Philip Inweregbu, Financial Secretary; Emma Iwuchukwu, Treasurer; Boniface Oguzie (7 Cartons), Chief Security Officer (CSO)/Provost; and Chris Iwuji, Social Welfare Officer.

Reacting to his election, Chief Ezeala expressed gratitude to God and members of the association for the confidence reposed in him and his team. He pledged to provide purposeful leadership and work closely with other members of the executive to advance the objectives of the Class of 1982.

Chief Ezeala, a legal practitioner, holds the traditional title ofEbubeaguNdi Igbo and currently serves as the Legal Adviser to ObinwanneUmuaka Autonomous Community. He assured members that his administration would be committed to strengthening the unity of the association, promoting the welfare of members and ensuring that the group records greater achievements during its tenure.
