A civil servant, Mr Amanze Nwachukwu from Emii in Owerri North LGA of Imo State has expressed his continued love for Umuaka and her people. Mr Amanze Nwachukwu who is the technical director of Umuaka Sports Council has according to him, lived for over 30 years in Umuaka. He told Umuaka Times that Umuaka people so much love him and he also loves them in return as well.
Nwachukwu who works with the Nigerian Post Office, NIPOST, told Umuaka Times that he has been transferred twice from the Post Office in Umuaka to Orlu and beyond and he still lived in Umuaka and worked from Umuaka to his new duty posts.
While commenting on the good side of the community, Nwachukwu told Umuaka Times that he came to the community in 1990 and from that time till date, he has not heard any problem with anyone. “Umuaka people are so nice and accommodating. I can see love among them and that is why they are progressing very well.”
On his advocacy on how to make things work very well in Umuaka, Nwachukwu advised Umuaka businessmen to create a big motorcycle market where motorcycles will be readily available for purchase instead of some users who go as far as Nnewi to buy. He also used the opportunity ad appealed to motorcycle boys to remember that life has no dublicate.
