1 min readChief Noel Okezuo Oguike, the embattled president general of Acharaji Autonomous Community has debunked what he described as a rumour making the rounds in the community that he had been removed by the traditional ruler of the community, Eze Ken Uzoho as the president general of the community. Recall that on December 29 2021Umuaka Times Institute, the whatsapp group of Umuaka Times published breaking news that Chief Noel Oguike, the Emetumba 1 and the president general of Umuaka presidents general had been removed from office and replaced by Augustine Ndubisi Ukajim Jr also known as Agbarusia.
While speaking with Umuaka Times, Chief Oguike confirmed that he remained the president general of his community and the president general of all the presidents general of the communities in Umuaka Municipal Council. “I was elected by the people and I am yet to complete my term and no royal father has the right to remove me from office.”
The president general who confirmed that he knows why the rumour of his removal came up told Umuaka Times that he was prepared to tell the people of Umuaka nothing but the whole truth when the need arises.
In his final message, he told Umuaka Times that his office has a term which has a beginning and an end according to the mandate his community gave him. “I remain the authentic PG of Achara,” he confirmed to Umuaka Times.
