John Bosco Meremikwu: The Making of the Digital CEO of the Year.

US based businessman and an IT specialist Mr John Bosco Meremikwu also known as Patapata emerged as the winner of the Umuaka Times Digital CEO of the Year Award 2023 in December last year. The award which was given based on the feat achieved by Mr Meremikwu as the first person in Umuaka to provide CCTV on the streets of his community also acknowledged that Meremikwu provided other digital devices to strengthen access to worldwide web in Umuaka and beyond.
Last week, the Umuaka Times Merit Award Laureate, had the opportunity to receive the award after waiting for a period of two months.
The award which was presented in the country home of the winner was received in a low key event where the reporters of Umuaka Times and some family members witnessed the presentation.
After receiving the award, Mr Meremikwu thanked Umuaka Times for finding him worthy for the prestigious award and supporting the digitalization of Amakor community through CCTV coverage and more.
