Sunday, March 19, 2023, was a great day in the United States of America, especially for Akalites and other Africans and Americans living in Texas. On the eventful day, a good number of them and their friends cut across the United States graced the classic wedding ceremony of one of the young and prominent Nigerians in America named Joshua Aaron Chinedu Crye and his beautiful wife Carly Riggins.

The event, which took place at the chapel of Lone Star Mansion, John Charles Drive, Burleson, Texas USA, was like a roll call of those who mattered most in their various professions in Texas and beyond.

According to the United States correspondent of Umuaka Times who monitored the event, the atmosphere at the event centre where the reception for the wedding was held after the church service dramatically changed when Mr Joshua Aaron Chinedu Crye, the first grandchild and first grandson of the late business mogul, Chief Ben Okoro Ojiaku dramatically stepped into the hall in grand style with his wife. Guests stood up in honor of the couple and photographers had a really great time snapping and video recording the majestic arrival of the newest American couple in town.

Trust the gorgeously dressed Nigerian and American women, especially Umuaka women who made the event look like an international fashion parade as they sat at the various tables enjoying every part of the event. Someone who did not want her name mentioned in print whispered to Umuaka Times, “Perhaps Umuaka women are one of the best dressed African women in the United States.”

When it was time for dancing, the new couple made it straight to the dance floor and held the audience spellbound with their exclusive and impressive dance steps. A good number of guests who graced the event also took to the dance floor alongside the couple.

At the end of the event, Umuaka Times confirmed that the wedding between Joshua Aaron Chinedu Crye and his wife Carly was something that will last in the memories of various guests that graced the sweet occasion in the next couple of years.
