In a press statement issued today being Good Friday by the honourable member, with a copy made available to Umuaka Times, the honourable member called on Nigerians to use this period of Easter celebration as a season of sober reflection “on our lives and a time to renew our personal covenant with God and our relationship with our family and friends. I urge you to emulate the footsteps of Our Lord Jesus Christ whose death and resurrection, the world is celebrating today and to devote a little time to reflect on our relationship with our neighbours and the personal sacrifice which we must all make to create a better society for ourselves and our children yet unborn”.
In an interview from the Umuaka Times correspondent in Owerri who called on him earlier today, Hon Ozurigbo strongly preached on the need for peaceful co-existence and co-operation among the citizens of our country and advised that we should endeavour to do the right things for the advancement of peace and justice for the interest of all.
