Madam Francisca Okeziri’s burial shifted to August 5.

The family of the late Mr. Clement Emenawibe Okeziri of Umulolo Umuezeala Uba Umuaka has announced a slight change concerning the burial program of their mother, grandmother and great grandmother, the late Mrs. Francisca Nwaijuru Ogbenyealu Okeziri nee Ukajim.
In the press statement Umuaka Times obtained from the bereaved family which was issued by Mr Afams Anthony Okeziri on behalf of the Okeziri family, the new date chosen for the burial of the devote Christian mother, the late Madam Francisca Okeziri, the new date for the burial has been shifted to Saturday August 5, 2023.
Also in a brief chat Umuaka Times had with Mr Afams Anthony Okeziri, the late Mrs Okeziri’s rites of passage will begin on Friday August 4, 2023 with a wakes night and service of songs which will hold in the Okeziri family compound in Umulolo Umuezeala Uba Umuaka.
Mrs Okeziri’s transition to glory begins on Saturday August 5, when her remains will leave the Umuaka Community Hospital mortuary in a motorcade by 7 am to the Okeziri family house in Umulolo Umuezeala Uba for lying in state. By 10 am, the body leaves for St Mary’s Church Umuaka for a funeral Mass. Internment will hold by 12 midday in the Okeziri family compound in Umulolo Umuezeala Uba.
Sunday August 6, 2023, the entire Okeziri family, relations, friends and well-wishers will be taking part in a thanksgiving Mass at St Mary’s Catholic Church by 9 am. The late Francisca Nwaijuru Ogbenyealu Okeziri, a devoted Christian mother who was born in 1926, died at the age of 97 years. She was survived by 8 children, 45 grandchildren, 35 great grandchildren and more others too numerous to mention. Umuaka Times has been named the official newspaper of the burial ceremony.
