TNA Slammiversary 2026 delivered one of the night’s most emotional and violent encounters as Moose overcame a vicious assault from former ally Eddie Edwards to emerge victorious in their No Surrender Match.

The grudge match stemmed from the implosion of The System, after Eddie Edwards expelled Moose and JDC from the faction and aligned himself with Brian Myers alongside new recruits Bear Bronson and Cedric Alexander. The bout carried unique stipulations, with victory only possible if JDC, standing in Moose’s corner, or Alisha Edwards, representing Eddie Edwards, threw in the towel.

Hostilities erupted even before the opening bell as Edwards ambushed Moose. The former TNA World Champion quickly responded by driving Edwards onto the ring apron with a thunderous powerbomb before both men exchanged a series of punishing attacks inside the ring.

Edwards eventually gained momentum after connecting with his trademark Boston Knee Party, but the contest took a darker turn when he introduced a steel chain into the match. Although Moose briefly regained control, Edwards zip-tied both of his opponent’s hands to the middle rope, leaving him defenceless before repeatedly striking him with a kendo stick.

Despite the relentless punishment, JDC refused to surrender on Moose’s behalf, with Moose urging him not to throw in the towel.

Eddie Edwards Targets Moose’s Family

The shocking confrontation escalated when Moose’s wife, Rese, rushed to ringside and attempted to end the match by throwing in the towel. JDC prevented her from doing so, prompting Eddie Edwards to leave the ring, grab her by the hair and shove her violently to the floor.

Moments later, Moose’s young son entered the ringside area to check on his mother, only for Edwards to seize him and attempt a powerbomb inside the ring. The youngster escaped by delivering a low blow to Edwards, drawing a huge reaction from the crowd.

As chaos unfolded, Rese retaliated by slapping Alisha Edwards outside the ring. Moose then broke free from the zip ties, planted Edwards with two devastating spears and prepared to drive him through a table positioned in the corner. Before he could finish the assault, Alisha Edwards threw in the towel, officially handing Moose the victory.

Following the match, JDC delivered a stunner to Eddie Edwards before Moose speared both Eddie and Alisha Edwards through the table, bringing the bitter rivalry to a dramatic conclusion as he celebrated with his family in the ring.
