The General Overseer of the Saints Gospel Church International and one of the children of the late Mama Susan Unanma who was buried on December 29, 2022 in Umuele Anazano, Bishop Uche Unanma has described his late mother as a fearless woman of God who came, saw and conquered her environment with the word of God.
Speaking during the funeral service of the late Mrs Unamna, Bishop Unanma painted a moving picture of all the pains and hardship his mother went through while raising them from their formative years till they became independent. According to the fearless bishop, his mother was never a lazy woman. “I remember she would wake us all very early in the morning to go to farm and harvest cassava before coming home to prepare for school. She was not only a teacher but also a very good farmer.”
Continuing on his speech, Bishop Unanma thanked God that his mum has successfully paid the price “for all of us her children.”
As he was making his speech about his mother, he told the congregation that him mother was indebted to almost all the women in Umuele. The purpose of the indebtedness was to train her children to any level they desired.”Yes my mother borrowed money from many women here in Umuele. I am very happy that she never mismanaged any opportunity and we are all the living testimony to that.”
Bishop Unanma concluded by saying that his mother, “was our greatest source of support we had while growing up and I thank God for keeping her alive to eat the fruit of her labour.”
