Obinna Duruji sends birthday message to Nigerians.

High profile Umuaka born human rights advocate and legal luminary, Dr Obinna Duruji on Wednesday 2nd November 2023 had cause to thank God with family and friends as he marked his yet another birthday. When Umuaka Times reached out to Dr Duruji to wish him well, he expressed his heartfelt joy for the birthday greetings coming from friends, well wishers, colleagues and others from across the world.
On his message to Akalites and to Nigerians in general, Dr Duruji tasked the political class and those from the organized private sector to have a great vision above self interests and live for a cause.
From the current endangered situation Nigeria is facing, the two time former commissioner in Imo State frantically appealed to Nigerians thus: “Work hard with strategic execution frame work. Be audacious and leave the rest to God.”
While concluding his message, Dr Duruji thanked the Almighty God for adding yet another 365 days to his eventful life and prayed for more years and good health. Dr Duruji used and cautioned that “these are perilous times” and called for circumspection and sound judgment in voting choices in the 2023 elections as there will be dire consequences for wrong or bad choices.
