Obinwanne youths fix bad road.

The Ukwu Udara Youths Association in Obinwanne Autonomous Community last week embarked on an aggressive fixing of the Ukwu Udara Street in the community.
The youths who came out in their big numbers were seen by Umuaka Times pouring sands and matching bad spots of the road for easy motoring.
The Chairman of the youths association Mr Agwubuo Odinaka who spoke with Umuaka Times on the project, confirmed that the youths of the area were very worried over the deplorable state of the street especially in this rainy season. The state of the street which obstructed an easy flow of traffic in the area was what inspired the road fixing project by the determined youths.
On the source of funds spent to carry out the project, Mr. Agwubuo said they all made free donations towards the project and most of their members responded positively.
The former chairman of the Njaba LGA, Chief Nwaobodo Agwubuo who was present at the construction site, told Umuaka Times that he is the patron of the youths and he has confidence in the youths and what they do. He went further to commend the Joint efforts of the youths in coming together to fix the road problem.
The ex chairman also spoke about the security network in the area and commended the youths again for initiating and carrying out effective security operations in the area especially at night.
