Odorless fufu flour now in town as Akalite opens factory in Amiyi.

For those who detest the (offensive) smell of fufu (akpu) and those who don’t eat it, Umuaka Times can now authoritatively report that a solution has fully arrived as an Amiyi Akah industrialist has cited a fufu flour processing factory in Amiyi Akah community. The company known as Chikk International Production Limited came into full productions some months ago.
From some of the documents Umuaka Times came across, the company is owned by Chief Ms Chika Duru, a native of the community. Further documents showed that Chief Chika Duru has employed many people in her new firm and full productions have already begun. The fufu flour is processed, packaged and prepared exactly like semovita. The beauty of the fufu flour staple food Chikk International Production Limited offers to the market is that it is 100 percent odorless. Those who do not eat fufu because of its smell can now relax and enjoy the odorless fufu from Chikk International Production Limited.
Other food items and suppliments produced in this firm include black tea, ginger, garlic and lemon tea. Bitter kola tea, uda and uzuza tea. This particular tea uda and uzuza tead serves as a total body cleanser especially for women who just put to bed.
Umuaka Times reporters gathered that the company, in spite of its not so long entry into the local market is making inroads into other markets in and outside the state. Efforts by Umuaka Times to reach out to the CEO of the new firm, Chief Chike Duru were not successful before press time last week.
For now weak lovers of fufu and those who don’t eat fufu because of its smell, have a choice.
