The officiating priest who conducted the requiem Mass for the repose of the soul of the late Chief Ignatius Nnaoma Nwaiwu alias Oppose has described him as a lover of children and animals. The priest made this disclosure during the church service for the Chief Nwaiwu.
According to the priest, Oppose had a monkey which he chained on his lorry in the 80s. Children loved the monkey a lot and they would always be playing with the monkey.”They would throw ground nuts or udara to the monkey and the monkey will catch it and eat it. If you the children dare throw a stone to the monkey, it will throw it back at them,” the priest said.
The priest further preached on the need to live a good and full filled life in God and finally prayed God to receive the soul of the departed to his Paradise.
