Simeon Okoro Annual Lecture fixed for December 27 2020.

The 18th edition of Simeon Okoro Foundation’s annual lecture and symposium has been slated to hold on December 27, 2020. This year’s edition of the program which promises to be more advanced in preparation, packaging and content is titled, Igbo Nation and Principles of Self Determination….the issues involved.
The special guest of honour at the event will be Chief Ralph Uwazuruike while the event will be held under the distinguished chairmanship of Dr Austin Chidi Agbahiwe.
The anchorman of this yearly Umuaka intellectual feast, Professor I. Mbachu in a brief interview with Umuaka Times confirmed that the venue of the event is the banquet hall of Umuaka Youths Crusade. Mr Ikenna Egonu, an expert on security studies has been anointed to be the guest lecturer of the day.
While presenting the invitation document of the historic event to Umuaka Times earlier last week, Professor Mbachu used the opportunity to appeal to all Akalites and others to endeavour to be at the event and brainstorm on the political fate and agenda of the Igbo.
Umuaka Times will be the official newspaper of this program.
