2 min read

Last week, the Ndiokwu Ibele community was thrown into a big mourning following the untimely death and burial of one of their daughters, the late Miss Chidalu Nwachukwu Egeuka. Umuaka Times gathered that Chidalu who obtained a degree in business administration and immediately proceeded to do her NYSC , later relocated to Lagos State a couple of years later where she eventually met her sudden death. As a business administration graduate, she ventured into business and was doing very well in her business as the business expanded.
Just a couple of days ago as Umuaka Times gathered, Chidalu complained of stomach upset. Those she complained to were said to have advised her to seek medical assistance immediately which she did. By the time she started taking treatment, both Chidalu and her close confidants strongly believed that in a matter of days she would be ok and resume her business. Too bad, instead of recovering from the stomach crisis within a matter of days, Chidalu died within a matter of days.

When Umuaka Times contacted a member of the family last week, in the person of Chief Chukwudi Egeuka, he confirmed to Umuaka Times that the death of Chidalu was a big blow to their entire family.
According to him, a candle light procession was organized and held for her on Thursday February 10, 2022 while she was buried amidst tears the following day being Friday 11 February 2022.
Miss Chidalu Augusta Nwachukwu Egeuka was 33 years old. May her soul rest in peace.
