 TJ Ehirim pledges support for Girls Technical School.

South African based Akalite, politician and high profile pharmacist and administrator, Dr TJ Ehirim has pledged his full support towards any project that will elevate the status of Girls Secondary Technical School Umuaka.

The promise to support the projects of the school was dropped last week during the annual inter-house sports program of the great institution. Speaking through his representative at the event, Barrister G.O.C. Ihejiagwa, the chairman of Labour Party Imo State Chapter, Dr Ehirim first thanked the principal and staff of the school for the good works they are all doing in training the children and building the institution.


He further appealed to the students to take every aspect of their academics seriously as they will be the ones to laugh last. Dr Ehirim acknowledged that there are many distractions today facing academics “but she who endures to the last will be the ultimate beneficiary. Stay focused and build your selves properly”, he urged the students.

Because of how important academics is to Dr Ehirim, he pulled a delegation of high profile personalities to represent him at the event. The delegation includes, Barrister G.O.C. Ihejiagwa, the Chairman of Labour Party, Imo State, Nigeria. High Chief Kingsley Nnamdi Asife, (the Aka Onye Wetara 1) and the director Special Duties in Project T.J. Ehirim Worldwide. Hon. Chidubem Ijeoma of Amazano, (Ojukwu Njaba), Chairman, Labour Party, Njaba LGA. Nze Luke Ekwueme (Chairman, Ideato North Labour Party).

Others include Barrister Emmanuel Duru of Isiekenesi and the chairman, LP Ideato South LGA. High Chief Lambert Eze, Traditional Prime Minister; Chairman, LP Orsu LGA was also a part of the representatives. Ezinne Lolo Dorathy Adaeze Ehirim (Ugo Si Mba) a veteran indigenous teacher and a retired headmistress and a powerful women leader in the state.

Also Nze Felix Okpara of Ekwe, Labour Party chairman, Isu LGA and Apostle Ugochukwu Ezeugo, member Project T.J. Ehirim Foundation Worldwide, Chairman, Isu Njaba Ward 1 were also at the event. Ms. Chidindù Omakasinachi, Project T.J.Ehirim Foundation Worldwide, Uba Umuaka.

Hon. Friday Mmereole, member Project T.J. Ehirim Foundation, Chairman, Labour Party, Amazano Ward.

To demonstrate his commitment towards the promise he made, Dr Ehirim donated the sum of N300,000 to support the fund raising program of the school.
