Uba Umuaka youths begin football tournament.

Uba Umuaka born footballers have come together to develop football games in Uba Umuaka. The football activity which has been tagged Uba Umuaka Unity Tournament has already kicked off on Saturday 8 October 2022 at Hilltop Primary School Uba Umuaka.
When Umuaka Times spoke last week with Dike Uchechukwu Kenneth, a football coach and the chairman of the organizing committee of the tournament, he confirmed that the tournament will see Umuezeala, Ndihu, Umuezikeukwu and Umuezikeoha battle on the football peach in 16 matches both home and away. According to him, most of the villages in Umuaka Municipal Council have been playing the home based matches over the years.
Already Umuezikoha and Umuezikeukwu have played the opening match. Umuaka Times gathered that all the communities in Uba Umuaka are seriously getting prepared for the big league. Umuezeala, which has produced a lot of professional footballers is also making serious efforts to be the number 1 during the tournament.
Uba indigenes who got hint of the football event expressed their happiness and appreciation for the tournament which is believed to identify new footba stars in the community.
