Commendations, encomiums, moral support, appreciations and prayers from notable individuals and stakeholders in Uba Umuaka have continued to trail the road project being constructed by Chief Chris Nwachukwu. Several persons have reached out to Chief  Chris Nwachukwu via the Umuaka Times digital media to thank him and pray for him over his several charity works in the community, especially, the new road project. The latest appreciation came from the President General of Umuaka Autonomous Community, Hon Kizito Duru. In a press statement Umuaka Times received last week from the honourable PG, he did not only express his overwhelming joy over the road project but he also was not surprised at all because according to him, charity is in the bloodstream of  Chief  Chris Nwachukwu.

“I am not surprised that Chief Dr. Chris Nwachukwu is embarking on yet another laudable project that will benefit our people. This is because he has a track record of giving to the communities -not just Umuaka Ancient kingdom but beyond. We are truly blessed to have him  and others as our sons.”

The PG also used the opportunity and appealed to other Akalites to remember people like Chief Nwachukwu in their daily prayers so that God will continue to bless them and they will in return bless their different communities.

“May I on behalf of our people thank him immensely. We will continue to pray for him and others like him.” He appealed to other “big boys” in Umuaka to emulate the beautiful footsteps of Chief  Chris Nwachukwu.

In his final conclusion, Hon Kizito Duru also extended his vote of thanks to Umuaka Times for all its activities in the state and beyond.
