2 min read

Peterlarz speaks.

I am Mr Peter Lazrus Okechukwu Okoroha. Austin (Agbahiwe) is not only a friend but a class mate at St Savious’ College.

I do not really know the woman but from what people have said so far, she touched many lives, especially the life of Dr Austin Agbahiwe. If she touched his life, she also touched my life because Agbahiwe is my friend.

Not everyone will be able to emulate her footsteps. She has played her part. We pray God will grant her an eternal rest.

Chief Nick Okpara speaks.

My name is Chief Nick Okpara. First of all, we are all here to sympathize with Dr Austin Agbahiwe, he is not just an old boy but a very good one for that matter. We thank God that he has been able to give his mother in-law a befitting burial. You can testify that by the number and the quality of people who came here today. Even the reception was excellent. In fact, everything has gone very well.

What many people do not know is that I am here for two reasons. The late husband of Mrs Dorothy Oguike,  Elder Francis Oguike was my master. He was the chairman of Umuaka Town Development Union from 1982 in Lagos. Even the man and his wife were the chairman of my wedding in 1984. We thank God for everything.

Gen Obi speaks.

The main organizer of this burial ceremony who happens to be my good friend is an in-law to behold. He has demonstrated that in many ways.

I really do not know the woman very well but I must confess, the events of today point to the fact that she was indeed the second mother of Dr Agbahiwe.
