The new Oji Ulo Eme Ogo of Isiozi Akah Autonomous Community, Chief Declan Ibezimako Dire has explained why he built and donated a 4 bed room apartment to Mrs Adaku Nnabuo. Chief Dire, a frontline Akalite who is based in the United States is a well known philanthropist and the winner of Umuaka Times Most Outstanding Philanthropist of the Year 2021.

In a welcome address Chief Dire who is also the Aririeri Mba 1 of Umuaka presented last week during the house warming and dedication event which took place in Umuakachi Isiozi community, he narrated how bad he felt when he heard the sad news of what happened to the woman in question concerning her late daughter. According to Aririeri Mba, he heard the killing of the daughter of the woman when he was in the United States but when he visited home, he decided to pay a visit to the bereaved family. On getting to the family compound, he was not impressed at all after seeing the one room apartment Mrs Adaku Nnabuo, a widow and the mother of the dead child and her children were living in.

In his characteristic manner, Aririeri Mba took time to console the woman and made a promise that he would build a house for her. In less than one year, the house was built and completed and the keys handed over to the new landlady, Mrs Adaku Nnabuo.

Chief Dire specially appealed to Mrs Adaku Nnabuo to cry no more as God has wiped out her tears through him. He appealed to the people to always remember the woman in their prayers and eventually asked God never to allow such incident that befell Mrs Nnabuo to befall any person present at the event.

Chief Nnamdi Dire who was accompanied to the event by his elder brother Chief Macdonald Dire, the Oyi 1 of Njaba and the Labour Party candidate for Imo House of Assembly for Njaba LGA was almost mobbed by admirers and loved ones trooped out to shake his hand and thank him.

Chiefs, Isiozi Akah women, youths and many others who were present at the event took time to snap pictures with Chief Dire and eventually prayed to God to continue to bless him.
