Eze Ahanotu extols the late Chief Linus Egeolu.

The royal father of Amiyi Akah Autonomous Community in Njaba LGA Imo State, HRH, Eze Francis Ahanotu has extoled the virtues of the late Chief Linus Obimezie Egeolu who was buried in his family compound in Amiyi Akah on June 26 2025. Speaking with Umuaka Times reporters during the burial ceremony, the royal father who led other royal fathers and Amiyi Akah Council of Chiefs to the burial ceremony described the late Obimazie Egeolu as a man who lived a fulfilled life, trained his children and worked for the development of his community.

The royal father used the opportunity and prayed to God to receive his soul in paradise and regretted that the death of Chief Linus Obimezie has created a vacuum nobody would be able to feel.

Umuaka Times reporters confirmed that the royal father who also took part during the requiem Mass witnessed everything that transpired during the burial.

The Iyi one of Amiyi Akah urged the children of the late sage to continue to live in peace and harmony and uphold the legacies their dad left behind.
