Mrs Pearl Denise Hogarth dies at 71. To be buried today.

A south African based businessman Chief Emeka Okorom has announced the death of his mother in-law the late Mrs Pearl Denise Hogarth. Chief Okorom who is also known as Ikemba 1 disclosed to Umuaka Times that the late Pearl Denise Hogarth was born on the 25th September 1954  and she was the last among 14 siglings.

The late Mrs Pearl Denise Hogarth according to the Ikemba was born in Westbury where she lived until 1987 before moving to Ennerdale. The deceased and her husband Mr. Walter Hogarth had 4 children.

Umuaka Times correspondents in South African confirmed that the late Mrs Pearl Denise Hogarth was a strong woman who fought all the odds on her way. At birth, she had heart defects and later under three successful open heart surgeries. This feat she achieved defiled known medical theories.

Speaking with Umuaka Times last week, Ikemba disclosed that “She lived a full life and her home was not only shared with her children but with everyone that she crossed  paths with. She was a women of strength, peace and love.”

Mrs Pearl Denise Hogarth was a Christian by birth and she passed away on the 21 October 2025. Srvived to mourn her are numerous family and friends including Chief Emeka Okorom (son in-law) and Lolo Ozelthea Okorom. She will be laid to rest on Sunday (today) 26th October, 2025. The venue of the reception will be made public after the burial ceremonies.
