Double Celebration for Chimezie Ehirim.

In a grand display of cultural heritage and personal joy, Chimezie Ehirim, CEO of De Lemon Grove Hotel Umuaka, was conferred with the chieftaincy title of Omezirimba 1 of Ekwe Ancient Kingdom on January 6, 2026, at the palace of HRH Eze Charles Emeka Anyakudo in Isu LGA, Imo State. The event drew prominent Achara chiefs and friends, marking a significant milestone in Ehirim’s life as a traditional man and a businessman.

Just three days later, Ehirim and his wife, Kate Chimemma Uzodi, took their vows at a VIP wedding ceremony held at St Paul’s Anglican Church Achara on January 9, 2026 which Umuaka Times was the official newspaper of the event. The wedding, described as “the wedding of the century” by Umuaka Times, attracted dignitaries, including Barrister Jude Ezeala, Dr Perry Ekwunazu, Prince Arthur Meremikwu (Earthquake), Hon Obinna Orgazi, Mr Chigozie Ezike, Chief Charles Ike, Dr Ken Nnaka and many others too numerous to mention.

The celebrations were marked by traditional dances, music, and merriment, with guests enjoying a grand reception at Plot 5028 Commercial District Villa Garden Hotel, New Owerri. Ehirim, overwhelmed with joy, donated N500,000 to support church projects.
