UMUAKA: In response to rising crises and moral challenges affecting the land, US-based televangelist Bishop Edu Adigwe has launched the Umuaka Ministers Fellowship UMF, a new union for Umuaka-born men and women of God at home and in the Diaspora. The fellowship brings together all ministers from Umuaka as a platform to know one another, fellowship, share ideas, and most importantly, gather for intercessory prayers for Umuaka and her indigenes.

“There’s so much evil in the land and as we come together as ministers to uphold Umuaka in prayers, God will intervene and heal our land,” Bishop Adigwe disclosed to Umuaka Times reporters in the United States.
“In a time like this, crises are high and there is a need for the people of God to show their followers the right path to God for ease.” Community stakeholders say a united body of pastors will make it easier to address crises, guide the youth, support the less privileged, and partner with other groups for community development. “A union of pastors will give us a platform to know one another, pray together, and stand in the gap for Umuaka,” one stakeholder noted.
Proposed benefits of the union include: Fellowship and Unity: Regular meetings for prayer, teaching, and mutual encouragement among pastors. Intercession for Umuaka: Corporate prayers for peace, progress, and healing of the land. Community Impact: Joint outreaches, charity programs, and advocacy on issues affecting families and youths. One Voice: A unified body that can engage government, town leadership, and organizations on behalf of the church in Umuaka. Beyond prayer, the platform plans to reach out and be a blessing to the community and the less privileged as it grows.
As at last week, the Umuaka Ministers Fellowship had about 11 members both in and outside Nigeria, with more expected to join in the coming weeks. Organizers are appealing to all pastors, evangelists, and church leaders born in or ministering within Umuaka to embrace the idea and come forward to be part of the union. The goal is to build trust, avoid duplication of efforts, and ensure the church plays its rightful role in raising a godly and responsible community.
Interested ministers are encouraged to connect with fellow pastors in their zones or reach out through Bishop Edu Adigwe and existing members for details. Planning for an inaugural meeting is expected to begin soon. As the town faces the pressures of modern times, the fellowship is being presented as a timely step toward spiritual collaboration and community transformation.
