Nwosu Family Announces Burial Program for Ezinne Happiness Nwosu.

The Nwosu family of Umudim and the Oguegbu family of Umuoka, both in UmueleAmazano, Njaba Local Government Area of Imo State, have announced the burial program of their wife and daughter late Ezinne Nneobioma Ezigbo Nwanyi Happiness Ikonnaya Nwosu, nee Oguegbu (FruruUgbo).The burial announcement was contained in a press statement made available to Umuaka Times by one of the deceased’s children, Mr Nnamdi Nwosu.

According to the statement, Ezinne Happiness Nwosu, who hailed from the Oguegbu family of Umuoka, UmueleAmazano, and was married to the late Mr Nicodemus Nwosu of Umudim, UmueleAmazano, died on May 6, 2026.The family stated that a service of songs and wake-keep will be held on Wednesday, January 6, 2027, at the deceased’s compound in Umudim, UmueleAmazano, beginning at 5:00 p.m.On Thursday, January 7, 2027, her remains will make a brief stopover at her maiden family home in Umuoka before proceeding to her husband’s family residence in Umudim.

A funeral service will subsequently be held in her honour and for the repose of her soul at St.Matthew’s Anglican Church, UmueleAmazano, at 11:00 a.m., after which interment will take place at her husband’s family residence without delay.

Umuaka Times gathered that the death of Ezinne Happiness Nwosu has left a large circle of mourners, including her children, brothers, uncles, other relatives, friends and members of the wider community, who are expected to gather to pay their final respects. The deceased was described by the family as a woman who dedicated a significant part of her life to the service of the Lord and to the wellbeing of her family and community.

Umuaka Times further gathered that several individuals, groups and organizations are expected to attend the burial ceremonies in honour of the late Ezinne Happiness Nwosu and to sympathize with the bereaved family.

The family has invited relatives, friends, church members and well-wishers to join them during the funeral ceremonies as they bid farewell to their beloved mother, sister, aunt, wife and community member.
