Emaka Odueze announces N3m takeoff grant for Mum’s foundation.

US based attorney and one of the children of the late Dame Cathy Odueze, Chief Emeka Odueze has announced a takeoff grant of N3million for the foundation established in honour of his mother. This announcement was made during the requiem Mass at St Joseph’s Catholic Church Isiozi Akah for the repose of the soul of the late Mrs Odueze.
When the officiating priest during the church service called out any family member from the Odueze family to come forward and make a speech, Chief Odueze, the Nwakaibeya 1went for the assignment. He greeted the Bishop, the parish priest, members of the various church and community based organizations present and other individuals. He thanked them all for their various roles they played since the day the announcement that their mother Mrs Cathy Odueze had passed on.
In order to continue the legacy of charity and philanthropy that Mrs Odueze stood for, Chief Emeka Odueze told the church gathering that the family has floated a foundation in honour and immortalization of the late mother of all. The foundation will focus its activities on the poor in the society.
Before he concluded his speech, he announced that the family has already provided a takeoff grant of N3million for the foundation which Ambassador Hippo Nwachukwu will act as the first executive director of the foundation.
