Chief Bob Dike holds low key birthday celebration.
1 min readTop community leader and stakeholder in Umuaka Municipal Council, Chief Bob Dike has appealed to all the supporters of good governance and democracy across the country to remain vigilant and supportive towards the realization of the people’s mandate through democracy. This advice was contained in a birthday message Chief Dike who is also an Engineer sent to Umuaka Times last week while marking his birthday on March 1, 2023.
Engineer Dike who disclosed to Umuaka Times that he has been praying for the success of the 2023 general elections and educating many Nigerian on how not to vote and on how to vote rightly regretted that by the year 2023, violence, vote buying and intimidation are still playing prominent roles in Nigerian politics.
Umuaka Times gathered that Dike has a deep optimism regarding the development of Nigerian democracy “because one day we shall get it right and stand firm as a nation.”
Before he ended his message, he thanked God for adding yet another year to his age and appealed to his friends and well-wishers to always remember him and his family in their daily prayers. Engineer Dike however, held a low key birthday celebration due to the mood of the nation as presently constituted.
