According to Mazi Duruakubuo, “Chief Ezeigbo is God’s gift to Umuawaha and the society at large”. He admitted that Chief Ezigbo has always come to the rescue of the Umuawaha people and others anytime his presence and assistance were needed.
“St kizoto is for Umuawaha people and the bazaar held today at St Mary’s Church. On this same day, Umuonyiriegbe and Umuwada families also held their harvest and bazaar with us separately. The church service started by 9 o’ clock in the morning but the harvest and bazaar kicked off immediately after the Mass”.
When asked to confirm if Chief Ezigbo gave them money during the Coronavirus hunger days, Mazi Duruakubuo said,”Dennis gave us N1million during the Covd19 era. He has been a responsible person who likes to help the poor and the society at large. The money he gave us during that time went a long way to help our people especially the women whose sources of livelihood were deeply affected by the lockdown.”
Mazi Duruakubuo used the opportunity to call upon all the people of Umuawaha families to always remember Chief Dennis Ezigbo and his wife in their daily prayers for more blessings and protection from God. It is our prayer that God will continue to bless him and his entire family.
