Favour Chidex Awuzu loses father.

US based Akalite and high profile military strategist Dr. Favour Awuzu who is currently the National President of Umuaka National Union, USA has announced the passage of his father, Nnaoma Damian Stanley Awuzu. Umuaka Times gathered that the late Nnaoma Awuzu till his death was a top community leader and a devote Christian father in the Roman Catholic Church. Dr Awuzu who bagged a doctorate degree from Walden University in the United States in 2019 majoring on Public Policy and Administration with special emphasis on Terrorism, Peace and Mediation, told Umuaka Times that his father whose burial date has been fixed on Wednesday, January 11, 2023 died at the age of 78.
A Christian wakes night and service of songs according to Dr Awuzu who is also addressed as Quadruple High Chief, has been slated to hold in the Awuzu family compound on Tuesday January 10, 2023. On the following day being Wednesday January 11, 2023, the remains of Nnaoma Awuzu will arrive St Joseph Catholic Church Isiozi for a requiem Mass which starts by 0900am.
The Umuaka Times correspondent in America confirmed that after the church service, interment of Nnaoma Awuzu follows immediately at the family compound in Umudurudim, Umuduruofor Isiozi-Akah.
Meanwhile several condolence messages have been tripping in, to the Awuzus since the death of the patriarch of the family was announced a couple of weeks ago. Akalites in the United States of America who some months ago elected Quadruple Chief the President of Umuaka Union in America have also expressed their condolences both as individuals and as a body to their president who lost his father.
A press statement issued by the Awuzu family which was signed by Dr Favour Awuzu disclosed that the late Nnaoma Damian Stanley Awuzu was born on 27th September 1944 and he passed on to glory on 21 October 2022. The press statement described the passage of Nnaoma Damian Stanley Awuzu as a celebration of life.
The late Nnaoma Damian Stanley Awuzu was survived by Unique Mother, Ezinne Bernadine Awuzu (Wife) Mrs Ogochukwu Uzoegwu (Née Awuzu) daughter and Paulinus Uzoegwu (Son-in-law). Quadruple High Chief who is a Knight of Roman Catholic Church and Lady Chinenyenwa Awuzu son and a host of other children, daughters-in-law, and grandchildren.
