How “obinwanneness” led Chinwado Nwozor to early grave.

2 min read

Several persons who heard about the gruesome murder of Mr Chikwado Nwozor also known as MC Onuojo have blamed his death on his love for his brother, the murderer.

Anene Nwozor used to live in Okoja in Anambra State with his family. Chikwado, his younger brother was not feeling happy over the economic hardship his elder brother was facing in Okoja. He tried his best to see how he could help. One day, he and his elder brother Anene had a meeting and Chikwado advised him to return home and settle in Umuaka. According to him, Umuaka has developed and many business opportunities can be found in the community as presently constituted. Anene was said to have listened to the advice of his younger brother and returned home with his family. From the day he and his family came back to settle in Umuaka Municipal Council, Chikwado has been highly instrumental in fending for the family of his elder brother Anene.

Umuaka Times was reliably informed that some of Chikwado’s siblings disagreed with him when he informed them about his plan to relocate Anene and his family to Umuaka. They told him plainly to jettison the proposal because Anene who is an ex-convict, can do many unthinkable things. A source told Umuaka Times, “Chikwado refused to listen to the advice and assured his siblings that Anene would be a changed person.” Too bad he assumed wrongly and so quick. Anene did indeed change but not the type of the anticipated change Chikwado had in mind. Anene changed from being an ex-convict to a murderer on the run.
