The much awaited wedding between high profile big boy and robust Akalite, Mr Chidube Chris Onwukwe popularly known as Dum, and his wife Chizoba was held last week at the St Michael’s Arch Angel Catholic Chaplaincy Owerri.
During the church service, the officiating priests reminded the new couple the need to always confide in each other and create the peace and love needed to oil the union. At the end of the Mass which began by 12 mid day and ended about 2 hours later, the guests drove to Beland Hospitality Hotels and Tours, venue of the high profile reception.
The lavishly decorated hall was something sweet to behold. The different attires and the bridal groups who also dressed gorgeously in different colours made the weeding take a shape of a carnival of an international standard.
As the DJ was busy blasting popular hits by some Nigerian and foreign artistes, the new couple and their bridal train took more than 25 minutes to enter the hall with their different dance steps.
The chairman of the occasion Engr Emeka Onwukwe thanked the guests for creating out time to come and witness the union between his younger brother and his wife Chizoba. He prayed God to lead everyone home safely at the end of the occasion.
Many guests who attended the event really thanked God for the wonderful union.
