Mayor Ojiaku loses mother, father in-law.

London based Akalite, businessman and top community integration advocate Mr. Mayor Okey Ojiaku has announced the passage of his mother, Mrs. Benedict Okpara of Umuezikoha Uba Umuaka, Njaba LGA Imo State. While speaking with the London based correspondent of Umuaka Times, Mayor Ojiaku confirmed that his mother died after a brief illness a couple of weeks ago. Mr Ojiaku also used the opportunity to thank God for the life well spent by his mother whom he described “as very passionate, hardworking and a well behaved Christian mother of repute”.
Left to mourn Mrs Benedict Okpara, include Mayor Ojiaku, a UK based businessman and Inspector Goddy Okpara, a member of the Nigerian Police Force, plus a host of other children, grandchildren and family relations and friends. Her burial date has been fixed on January 4th 2022 in their family compound in Uba Umuaka Imo State.
In the concluding part of the announcement by Mr Mayor Ojiaku, he used the opportunity and announced also, the passage of his father in-law from Ebenator Ekwe, in the name of late Mr. Aloysius Duru. According to him, Mr. Aloysius Duru will be buried in his home town in Ebenator Ekwe in Isu LGA Imo State on December 23 2021.
Umuaka Times has been named the official newspaper for the two funerals.
