Oghu Lagos 2022: Chidi Iwuoha gives vote of thanks.

The president of Proactive Diamond Friends Club of Nigeria Mr Chidi Iwuoha has congratulated and thanked the members of the club and the organizing committee which handled the event of Oghu Lagos 2022 edition that took place in Festac Town on Sunday 28 August 2022. In a press statement the president issued shortly after the event which was made available to newsmen including the Umuaka Times correspondent in Lagos, Iwuoha mostly commended the royal father and the traditional ruler of Umuele Amazano Autonomous Community Eze Caesar Ugochukwu Duruegbusuo, the founder of the club for finding out time to grace the event.
The special thanks from President Iwuoha also went to the chairman of the event Mr Orgadi Nnametu. He extended his vote of thanks to the Ikukuoma of Okija, Chief Bartholomew Nwadialu who was also present at the event.
Still talking about the event, Iwuoha thanked the chairman of the oghu organizing committee Barrister Emma Duruigbo, a Lagos lawyer and a cultural revivalist and his team made up of Chief Linus Nwokeocha, Mazi Cletus Offorji and Chief Julius Ezeta for a job well done.
On other personalities who attended the event including those who came from Umuaka town in Imo State, the president commended them for finding out time all the way from Imo State to witness the historic event. He described their efforts and love for the culture of the people of Umuaka as amazing.
On his final note, Iwuoha disclosed to Umuaka Times that the Oghu Lagos 2022 edition organized by the Proactive Diamond Friends Club of Nigeria has been adjudged as the best Oghu Lagos so far from the 80s till date by many spectators and cultural analysts from Igboland who witnessed the event.
For now, many have praised the social club for the excellent organization of the event and many other things that followed. If the Diamond Club decides to be hosting the event every year, many people are expected to benefit from the rich culture of Umuaka people.
