A prominent MNSE, UN-SDGs Ambassador of Umuaka extraction in Njaba LGA of Imo State, Mr Nwoke Stanley Okey, has called on the Njaba voters across all autonomous communities in the area to massively support the candidacy of Hon Victor Obinna Orgazi popularly known as Brainbox to win the state House of Assembly election to represent Njaba LGA come 2027. Ambassador Okey Nwoke who is a COREN certified engineer made this call last week shortly after Hon Orgazi picked the ticket of Nigeria Democratic Congress NDC. Orgazi beat his opponent Barrister Goddy Udeagwu with 180 votes. Udeagwu scored 4 votes.

In a strongly worded appeal addressed to Umuaka Times, the youthful engineer and community stakeholder emphasized the urgent need for Njaba to present a candidate who has what it takes to develop the local council. He described Hon Orgazi as a man with credibility, spirit of unity and grassroots strength. According to him, “Njaba needs representation that can bridge divides, inspire the youth, and command respect beyond party affiliations. Elections at this level are won not merely on party structures, but on the candidate’s integrity, grassroots connection, and proven ability to deliver results.”

The engineer specifically highlighted Hon. Victor Orgazi, as a strong contender whose profile aligns with the aspirations of the people of Njaba. He described the politician as a man of the people with extensive cross-party appeal, noting his previous political engagements under both APGA and PDP as evidence of his broad acceptance and established goodwill across the political landscape of Imo State. The statement further praised Orgazi’s philanthropic contributions and youth-centered initiatives, including scholarship programs, empowerment schemes, and direct community support, which have earned him significant grassroots admiration.

“Young people see him as one of their own, not just another politician. That kind of organic support cannot be manufactured and remains critical in driving voter participation,” the statement read.

Ambassador Okey also stressed the importance of generational leadership, describing the 40-year-old aspirant as educated, globally exposed, and equipped with the vision required to drive development and effective representation for Njaba people. He argued that fielding a candidate with broad-based support from parties including APGA, PDP, APC, AA, and independent stakeholders would significantly strengthen the NDC’s chances of securing victory in the election.

“Njaba cannot afford to field a candidate who appeals only to party insiders. We need someone who can unite, mobilize, and win the main election while providing a strong voice for the people at the State Assembly,” he stated.

The appeal concluded with an appreciation to the NDC leadership for providing a highly credible candidate of Orgazi’s standing for the people of Njaba. He assured the people that Hon. Orgazi will certainly work for the collective interest of Njaba people despite party differences.

Political observers who spoke to Umuaka Times last week disclosed that the choice of NDC came as an intervention that reflects growing calls among constituents for a new generation of inclusive and development-driven leadership ahead of the 2027 electoral cycle in Imo State.
