2 min readFrom the findings Umuaka Times gathered from some news media outlets on the internet, the Lead Pastor of Gateway International Church Port Harcourt, Pastor George Izunwa has encouraged men of God in the country and their followers to begin fitness exercises to suppress many ailments associated with physical docility and unhealthy way of living. The pastor who was a couple of months ago, spotted at the Bumblebee Fitness Center Port Harcourt was seen with his coach who took him on boxing training. The man of God decided to choose boxing as his choice because of how boxing really strengthens the body and soul.
For a very busy Pastor George to find time to visit the gym is a good way of showing an act worthy of emulation by Christians and other Nigerians in demonstrating how beneficial the act of fitness keeping is to the body. Sporting and fitness activities were also reported in some Bible passages in order to encourage Christians to follow the path.
