2 min read

The Head Mistress of Premier School Achara, Mrs F.A. Nnaji has extended her vote of thanks to Engineer Amaechi Dikeocha and other indigenes of the community who put in their best towards employing more teachers and two security men for the school. Mrs Nnaji who disclosed this to Umuaka Times last week in a brief interview confirmed that both the new teachers and the security men who were deployed at the school have already resumed duties.
While thanking the whole individuals and Umuaka Times for a job well done, she further disclosed that she and her new and old staff members are very happy about the development as the school has bounced back to life again. “We can now really feel a sense of security during the school hours’, she told Umuaka Times.
On another development, Mrs Nnaji confirmed that there are still many works to be done in the school but they will all follow a gradual process. She however appealed to the community to also look into the issue of providing toilet and water for the school. She lamented that the children always take the risk of crossing the express road in search of water to drink during break period. “As you can see, we need toilets and water. My children are really taking big risk in search of water to drink. The community has tried so far and we thank and pray for those who made it possible but we still need water and toilet for the children.”
In her conclusion, she prayed that God will always protect the children and the entire Achara community and bring more peace, development and love in the community.
