Prof Patrick Egbule visits Umuaka; holds talks with old students.

The Vice Chancellor for the new University of Agriculture & Environmental Studies UAES, Imo State, Professor Patrick Ekezie Egbule recently paid a private visit to Umuaka. Chief Egbule who was accompanied during the visit by his son and security details first came to Uba where he paid a condolence visit to the American based Dr Bernard Nwaiwu whose father Chief Oppose Nwaiwu was buried on the same day, January 5, 2022.
After meeting with Dr Nwaiwu and a warm exchange of pleasantries with some old friends, Professor Egbule then met with the publisher of Umuaka Times briefly. Together they left to pay a social visit to Mr Attraction Agwumezie and his brother Chief Sabinus Agwumezie. The Agwumezies took time and held talks with Professor Egbule on the fate of academics in Igboland.
As former old boys of High School Umuaka, the Professor and his hosts shared some old jokes together and burst into laughter at intervals. They congratulated him for his appointment as the Vice Chancellor of the University of Agriculture & Environmental Studies. The professor told them that he did not only read in High School Umuaka but he also taught there for 3 years where he handled biology and chemistry for senior students.
Before the meeting came to an end, Mr Attraction Agwumezie advised Prof Egbule to always keep his hands clean and do the right things to make his students and the school move to the next level of glory. The Agwumezies prayed that God will continue to bless the Vice Chancellor.
