The remains of late Mother Ezinne Esther Agumba (née Udogu) were laid to rest on Friday, May 1, 2026, in her hometown of Achara community, Njaba Local Government Area of Imo State.

According to Umuaka Times, the official newspaper of the event, the burial ceremony attracted a large turnout of dignitaries, family members, friends, and well-wishers from across Nigeria and beyond. The event was described as peaceful, well-organized, and befitting of a woman of her character and legacy.

Late Mother Ezinne Esther Agumba, who passed on October 13, 2025, was widely known for her virtuous life, humility, and unwavering faith in God. Born into the family of the late Engr. Vincent Udogu and late Mrs. Juliet Udogu of Umuezeofor, Umudibe in Ekwe, Isu Local Government Area of Imo State, she distinguished herself early in life through responsibility, intelligence, and a calm, observant nature.

In her early years, she relocated to Agbor in present-day Delta State, where she contributed meaningfully to her family’s welfare while developing vocational skills in sewing. She later returned to Imo State, where she continued a life of service to her family and community.

She was married to Mazi Cyprian Diala Agumba, and their union was blessed with five children. Through dedication and strong moral upbringing, she nurtured her children into accomplished individuals in various professional fields both within and outside Nigeria.

Known for her generosity and deep spirituality, she was a devoted member of the Watchman Catholic Charismatic Renewal Movement in Umuaka. She was widely respected for her commitment to prayer, her support for others, and her role as a pillar of strength within her family.

Speakers at the burial ceremony paid tribute to her life of service, kindness, and faith, noting that her legacy continues through her children, grandchildren, and all who came in contact with her.

Though she has passed on, attendees reflected on her enduring impact, describing her as a woman whose life exemplified love, discipline, and devotion to God. Her memory, they said, will remain cherished for generations to come.
